Cindy Lou
Houle
November 16, 1962 – June 21, 2016
Cindy L. Houle, 53, passed away due to natural causes on June 21, 2016, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.
Cindy was born on November 16, 1962, in Great Falls, Montana, to Norbert "Smokey" and Shirly (Hendersen) Houle, one of 12 children. She was raised in Great Falls, attending Longfellow, Sunny Side, and Paris Gibson schools. Following her school years, she worked for many years as a housekeeper, most recently at the Ponderosa Motor Inn.
Cindy loved to ride horses, camp, fish, party, and make everyone laugh. Her children were the light of her life. She also loved her dogs very much and spoiled them rotten. Her laugh was distinctive, and could be heard from a great distance. She was a strong-willed, very independent, and adventuresome woman, who displayed great tenacity in all that she set her mind to do. Cindy adored her family and would go the extra mile to help anyone in need. She knew this day would come, so she prepared for her next life by accepting Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.
She was preceded in death by her father Norbert "Smokey" Houle; her brothers, Loren Walker, Larry Blevins and Casey Houle; and her sister Lonnie Mattern.
Cindy is survived by her son Roger Frandcin of Great Falls; her daughter Stephanie Everette of Havre; her sisters Laura Walker, Lee Ann Sockeye, Carol (Art) Padget, and Heather Houle, all of Great Falls; her brothers Lee (Sandra), John (Donna), and Bruce (Yvonne) Houle, all of Great Falls; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and many friends.
