Christopher A. Tendore, 22, of Rocky Boy, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, due to injuries sustained in April. Chris was born on August 23, 1992, in Havre to Lynn Tendore and Susan Raining Bird. He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school there. In 2010, he graduated from Youth Build at Northern Montana College, and worked as a carpenter on the jail and clinic in Rocky Boy. He began attending Stone Child College in August of 2013, and was still attending college when he received the injuries that eventually took his life. Chris was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alan Tendore and Ivan Raining Bird; his uncles, Richard Tendore and Dennis Sangrey, and his close uncle Charles "Simmer" Raining Bird; and his aunt, Sybil Cauliflower. He is survived by his father, Lynn (Kristi Bell) Tendore of Fort Washakie, WY; his mother, Susan Raining Bird of Rocky Boy; his brothers, Gregory Charles Raining Bird and Jacob LaMere, both of Rocky Boy, Bryant Tillman of Fort Washakie, WY, Cole Little Shield of Arapaho, WY, Dakota Snyder of Fort Washakie, Justin Bell of Lander, WY, and Aaron Weed, Alan Tendore, and Lynn Tendore, Jr., all of Fort Washakie; his sisters, Latia Tendore and Laleilia Calls In, both of Fort Washakie, and Ryan and Taline Bell, both of Lander; his grandmothers Irene Tendore of Fort Washakie, and Patsy Raining Bird, Pearl Whitford, Myrtle Raining Bird, Janice Myers, and Barbara Fourstar, all of Rocky Boy; his uncles Greg, Daniel (Wanda), Gerry, and Ivan John (Donna) Raining Bird; his aunt Theda (Sid) Blunt; and numerous other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
