Chad J. Cochran, 41, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, in Great Falls. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Pony Hill Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Chad Julian Cochran born on April 14, 1980, at the old Fort Belknap Hospital. He attended schools at Fort Belknap and Harlem up to the 8th grade. Then he went on to the school of hard knocks, where he obtained his GED. He was well known for his ability to draw and create artwork, as well as remembering and reciting scriptures from the Bible, both the Old and New Testament, and his love for reading books took his mind all over on all kinds of subjects. He was also known jokingly as to be half lawyer.
He survived by his parents, Louis Cochran and Gena Weasel; brother, Thomas Louis Cochran. III; sisters, Heather & Kyle Brockie, Nina Cochran, and Stephanie Cochran; uncles, Benny Rider, Mike & Cindy Weasel, Rick Weasel & Jojimy Snow, Raymond & Claudia Cochran, Robert "Bobby" & Christina Cochran, and Mike & Jo Cochran; aunts, Pam Weasel Azure & Bernadette Weasel, RoseAnn Cochran, Jeannie & Willy Buffalo; all his nieces and nephews who he loved, Eliana, Alex, Thomas IV, Onali, Malina, Karsin, Sienna, Laree, & Syrena Cochran, Ryan Pyle, Nick Pyle, Jr., and Kardence Blackwolf. He also had many cousins from New Jersey to Oregon and many street brothers & sisters.
He made his journey to be with his relatives, Richard & Georgina Weasel, Thomas Cochran Sr, and Shirley Carrywater; brother, Mitchell LaVallie; wife, Monto Wing; uncle, Clayton "Clark" Hawley; aunties, Carol Mel Weasel, Charlene Cochran Jackson, & Heniretta "Ettsy" Cochran Jones; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. His final resting place will be next to his grandpa, Richard "Sarge" Weasel.
He will be sorely missed.
