Carol L. WhiteSky, 65, passed away due to natural causes at San Bernardino Community Hospital on Saturday, November 23, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at Highland Cemetery in Great Falls. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Carol was born on August 18, 1953, in Great Falls to Dave Demuary and Annie Gopher. She was raised in Great Falls, attending school there. Following high school, Carol attended the College of Great Falls and graduated with a degree in early childhood development. For the next 10 years, she worked for HeadStart. She then quit to stay home and care for her ailing mother. Carol returned to work several years later as a medical records clerk, working for the Native American Center and the City/County Health Department, and also worked in home health. She retired in 2009, and relocated to California for medical care in 2016.

Carol was an outgoing, upbeat, loving grandmother, who believed that spending time with her grandchildren was time to be treasured. She also loved to tease and play pranks on her siblings, children, and grandchildren. "Bags" were her favorite subject, frogs were her favorite collectable, and coffee time was important as well. She enjoyed beading, cooking, baking, and attending BINGO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Demery and Annie Gopher; and siblings, Tyrone Gopher, Phyllis Gray, and Andrea Ramage.

Carol is survived by her children, Samuel (Amanda) Camper of Rocky Boy, and Erik (Cynthia Tsosie) Washington of Havre; grandchildren Casandra, Sierra, Si'Mone, Ilah, Armani, Zannique, and Saxon; a great-grandson due in January; siblings, Ernestine Gopher of Spokane, WA, Linda Green of San Bernardino, CA, and Kenneth (Patsy) Gopher of Rocky Boy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
