Carol Ann (Passon) Upshaw passed away of natural causes at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook on April 8, 2020, just four days after her 76 ^th birthday.

Carol was born on April 4, 1944 in Havre to Adolph and Inez (Adamson) Passon. She was raised in Havre and attended school there. Besides being a mom to her three children, she was a waitress, cook, bartender and restaurant owner.

Carol was proud of the fact that she was born on 4-4-44, and often used it as a conversation piece. She was known for her quick wit, kindness, work ethic, beautiful red hair, and good cooking.

She liked to bowl and always enjoyed puzzles of any kind.

Carol is survived by her son, Bob (Ruth) Dannels; daughters Cheryl Barber and Lea (Joe) Potoczny; her brother Jim Passon; her seven grandchildren (Casey, Ryan, Kyle, Casey, Katey, Cody and Julia); her 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Jim Rodgers; sister Betty Shropshire; and grandson Jesse Dannels.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held this summer. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.
