Carol Marie Doney, 70, of Hays, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Northern Montana Care Center, surrounded by family and friends. Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, April 6, 2015, at St. Paul's Mission Rec Center in Hays, and will continue until her Funeral Mass, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Paul's Mission Church. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Mission Center Cemetery. Carol was born on December 25, 1944 a (Christmas Baby) to Carl and Viola Doney (Grant) of Hays. She was a proud enrolled member of the Ft. Belknap Reservation. She enjoyed bingo, waltzing and visiting family and friends, and driving around the canyon of Hays. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Doney; her son Wallace (Wally) Grant Doney; her parents Carl and Viola Grant; and all her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Wallisa Doney; her 6 grandchildren, Eagle, Maxine, Trinity, Grant, Jaclyn, Lynn Rose, all of Hays; 9 great- grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
