Carmella J. Eagleman, 56, passed away due to complications from COVID-19 at Benefis Healthcare on Sunday, August 29, 2021.  Wake services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2021, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Eagleman Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Carmella was born on April 16, 1965, in Fort Belknap to James Eagleman and Marie Merasty.  She was raised  in Rocky Boy and Yakima, WA, attending school in Rocky Boy.  Following her school years, Carmella worked as a dispatcher for the Rocky Boy Police Department before attending Stone Child College.  After college, she worked as a teacher's aide in headstart.  More recently, she cared for her grandchildren.

Carmella was a very creative woman who enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, and playing machines.  She was an outgoing woman who was a lot of fun, but she had her private moments, as well.

She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Everson Mosquito, Jr., and Ezra Island; parents, Jimmy Eagleman and Cecile Merasty; and siblings, Caroline, Linda, Louis, Robert, Angela, Brenda, and Stanley Eagleman.

Carmella is survived by her children, Cecilia (Alan Villeneuve), Eagleman, Henry Eagleman, Alion Eagleman, Brandon Eagleman, Celesia Eagleman, Emalisa (Mikey Island) Eagleman, and Christina Eagleman, all of Great Falls; twenty-six grandchildren, and including Lala Eagleman and Chris Bernard; two great-grandchildren; brother, David Eagleman; sister, Elizabeth Eagleman; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
