Carl F. West Jr., 75 years, of Havre, MT, passed away on July 17, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Carl has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Carl was born in Valdosta, GA on May 28, 1941to Carl West Sr. and Lois Cleyo (Griner) West and grew up in Manchester, GA. He joined the Marines on October 18, 1968. He was honorably discharged on October 17, 1974.

Carl was married to Sherry Bogut West. They had 42 years of laughter, tears and traveling. His choice of employment was Restaurant management.

Carl and Sherry loved to hunt for arrowheads in Wyoming and watch action movies, especially John Wayne. Carl loved to read and had a book in his hand most of the time. He was a die-hard Denver Bronco fan.

Carl is survived by his wife, Sherry of Havre; sons, John West of New Bern, NC, and Charles and Mary West of Portland, TX and their children, Brandi and Charles, and Rebelle McNichol of San Antonio, TX; nieces, Kat Stewart and Lisa Pecora; stepdaughters, April Brook, Katherine Hill, and Peggy Held; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lois CleyoWest Sr. and his two sisters, Jimmie and Jeri.
