Obituary

Bridger Wyeth Holt was born March 18, 1983 to Roger & Kathryn Holt in Missoula, Montana. He departed this world beside his best friend & beloved brother in a tragic motor vehicle accident on February 15, 2012. He graduated from St. Jude's Junior High School in 1997 & from Havre High School in 2001. He was a strong leader with the Boy Scouts of America, in which he was both a member of Order of the Arrow & an Eagle Scout. Throughout his life, Bridger welcomed his days with a deeply dimpled smile that lit up the hearts of those around him & an infectious sense of humor that penetrated the lives of everyone he encountered. Bridger found ways to seize every moment of his life & made the most of what he was given. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army & served the country as a soldier deployed to Iraq in the First Cavalry, Charlie Company, Main Support Battalion. Upon honorable discharge from the military, Bridger joined with his close friend, Cassie Stone, to embark on an adventurous trip around the world that spanned two years. Over the course of his life, Bridger traveled as frequently as he was able, experiencing over 30 countries. Bridger was a savvy mechanic who had an uncanny ability to repair anything set before him. He had an enduring love for adventure & need to explore the outdoors. Bridger worked in Glacier National Park at Two Medicine during the summers & considered Montana to be his favorite place on earth. He was enrolled at the University of Montana as an undergraduate student in the Department of Society & Conservation. Bridger is survived by his loving family, including his grandparents, Harry & Nancy Roch, his parents, Roger & Kathryn Holt, his siblings Whitman, Morghan, Trevor, Lincoln, Anikka, Kinnell , Jordan & McKenna, his nieces, Alexxys & Nuala , as well as hundreds of friends who will continue to love him from all edges of the world.
