Obituary

Brenda Lee (Parker) Hollis, "Woman Walking on Mother Earth with Great Health", 64, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Brenda was born on October 10, 1960, in Fort Belknap to Raymond and Merceline (LaMere) Parker, Sr.  She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school in Box Elder and Rocky Boy.  Brenda graduated from Havre High School in 1978 and continued her education at Northern Montana College.  She moved to California, and soon met Terry Hollis, whom she married in 1983.  The couple raised their three children in California.  The couple moved to Rocky Boy in May of 2020, and they made their home in Rocky Boy.  Over the years, Brenda worked as a custodian in medical facilities and cared for her home and family.

Brenda was a feisty, outspoken woman who enjoyed working macrame and needlepoint, collecting glassware, refinishing furniture, and playing Keno.  Her favorite shows were Bizarre Foods and Naked and Afraid.  Brenda loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and she absolutely adored her grandchildren and fur babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Merceline Parker, Sr.; brothers, Randal Parker, Wayne Parker, and Jayde Parker; sisters, Diane Swan, Eleanor Parker, and Elizabeth Whitford; and her fur babies, Peaches and Punkin.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Terry Hollis of Box Elder; children, Raymond W. "Jazz" (Samantha) Parker of Havre, Kimberly (Ryan) Hollis and Shane Hollis, all of Rocky Boy, and fur babies Rocky and Rambo Hollis; grandchildren, Devin, Adison, Terrance, Gabriel, Tierra, Dayton, Sierra, Brooklyne, Jace, Ryan Jr., Jarron, Rosalie, Riddek; great-granddaughter, Joslin; sisters, Tracy Parker, Marsha (Mike) Sayer, Mary Jane Parker, and Jennifer (Ryan, Sr.) Windy Boy; brothers, Raymond "Jake" (Fawn) Parker, Jr. of Washington, James (Tammy) Houle of Big Sandy, Ted (Nida) Parker of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
