Brad was born December 18, 1954, in Havre, Montana to Robert and Patsy (Anderson) Lee. He was raised in Gildford, Montana on the family dairy farm and attended schools on the Hi -Line. He graduated from KG High School in 1973, and his claim to fame is his shot-put track record of which he still holds the title for. He married his High School sweetheart Cynthia Trulson on November 29, 1975, in Havre. They moved to western Montana to the Bitterroot Valley where they operated Sanlia Inc. their dairy farm and raised their two boys. Life on the dairy farm kept them all busy. Brad enjoyed being busy and he also sold real-estate and worked at Fasteners in the valley. They sold the farm in 2007 and moved back to Havre to be near family. Brad went to work for Havre Ford for a time and also sold real estate for Flynn Realty and bar tended at the Tip It Bar for many years.
If you knew Brad, he was a hard worker, and had a gift to gab, he was always up for a good joke or would be telling you one. He liked to work and tinker on his vehicles, motorcycles and kept a manicured lawn. He loved loud music and had a great friend network. He had a compassionate heart and a soft spot for animals. He brought home a litter of 5 kittens to care for and feed, and they still have them! He and Cynthia were just 14 days short of celebrating their 50-year anniversary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patsy Lee; in-laws, John and Lorraine Trulson; and brother-in-law Sid Haugen.
Brad is survived by his wife Cynthia Lee; their two sons: Allen (Jennifer) Lee and their three children: Brian (Zoya), David, and Rebecca; David Lee and his son, Dylan Hinds; his sisters, Valeri (Russ) Malsam and Sande Haugen; and sisters-in-law, Teresa (John) Roberts and Lindy Scofield. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
