Billy Bacon, 73, passed away due to natural causes at Benefis Medical Center in Great Falls on Sunday, October 25, 2020.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Billy was born on April 7, 1947, in Great Falls to Jim and Rose (Gopher) Bacon.  He was raised in Great Falls, attending school there.  After his school years, he attended Job Corps and earned his GED.  Billy married Theresa Stanley in the mid-60s and the couple had six children before later divorcing.  Following his time at Job Corps, he began working as a laborer in road construction, a job which he worked hard at for many years.  He then began working as a janitor for a school and church in Great Falls.  Billy loved this work, and was still doing it when he passed away.

He enjoyed playing cards and listening to oldies music, but he absolutely adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Daniel and Clinton Bacon; parents, Jim and Rose Bacon; and siblings, Raymond Bacon and Marie Shirley.

Billy is survived by his children, Colleen Bacon of Great Falls, Roberta (Dana) Ontriveros of Box Elder, Rachel Bacon of Box Elder, and Gordon Bacon of Great Falls; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Esther Spotted Wolf of Great Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
