Betty R. Wetsit 88, passed away December 4, 2024, at Northern Montana Hospital. Wake services will begin Thursday, December 4, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Parker Cemetery. Betty was born in Rocky Boy, MT on November 20, 1936, to John and Elizabeth (Nomee) Parker. She was the tenth of fourteen children. She attended school and graduated in Flandree, ND. She had two children and later on married Donald Wetsit on March 3, 1972.
Betty loved caring for her children at home as well as quilting, baking, cooking and gardening. She enjoyed rodeos, attending brandings and camping with her family. Betty was an amazing person with a compassionate heart and was very giving and loving. She made friends wherever she went. She really enjoyed teasing her family and laughing with them.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Wetsit; and eleven of her siblings.
Betty is survived by sons, Val (Sue) Parker, and Russel (Joyce) Parker; siblings, Paul Parker, and Anna Crain; and her four grandchildren; Mandi, Ryan, Rusti, and James Parker; and numerous family and friends.
