Obituary

Betty Ann Callison Villett, 69, was welcomed by the angles of heaven on January 4, 2013 after complications from a series of strokes. Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Van Orsdel United Methodist Church with Pastor John Ulrich officiating. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the service. Memorials in Betty's honor may be made to Kitty Keepers of Havre. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Betty was born a twin on November11, 1943 in Shreveport, LA to Tom and Dorothy Callison. Betty grew up in Carter, Montana attending a two room schoolhouse plus a gym with a graduating class of three students. She married Donald Sparks in 1963 and the couple lived in Great Falls. Later she married Leslie Sullivan in 1968 and they lived in Geraldine and Havre. Betty worked for Bosch, Kuhr and Dugdale Law firm as a paralegal from 1972 - 2003. In 1980, Betty married Russell Villett of Hingham. She lived life to the fullest, was always willing to lend a hand to anyone and always up for a new rock hunting adventure. She loved to sew especially making Christmas Stockings, gardening, garage sales, rock hunting and watching grandchildren play hockey among many, many other things. The light of her life were her family, her daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Waiting for her is her father Thomas Callison and her mother Doroth Callison Marnin. Betty is survived by her husband, Russ Villett of Havre, Montana and her daughters and their families: Terri (Mike) Voeller with their children Jeremy, Dustie & Kaden; Shelley (Bill Gupton) Shellenberger with Tanith and Grace all of Anaconda, Montana; Kimberly Wavrick with Zack, Levi and Cole of Havre, Montana. Step-sons Mike (Shalla) Villett with Stella and Mikey of California; Rick Villett. She is also survived by her sisters and brother: twin Kathy Ruegamer; Marie Meidinger of Billings, Montana Gale (Bob) Stringham of Provo, Utah; Wayne (Kathy Olsen) Callison of Great Falls, Montana; and Laurie (Wes) Rose Of San Carlos, California. Numerous nieces and nephews. If you are sad and miss me, listen for me in the meadowlark's song and may it bring comfort to you.
