Annette Sutherland, 66, passed away at Benefis Healthcare on July 8, 2022.  Wake services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Annette was born on December 24, 1955, to June Sutherland.  She was raised in Great Falls, graduating from CMR High School.  After high school, she attended Haskell Indian School, and then Eastern Montana College in Billings.  Annette's most recent position was at Stone Child College, teaching parents how to raise their children in the traditional cultural way.

She was preceded in death by her mother, June Sutherland Cox; brother, Darrell Cox; sister, Terrie Cox; maternal grandparents, Pete and Angeline Sutherland; aunts, Agnes Swan, Fern Doney, Sharon Zampich, and Pearl Shendo; and uncles, Clifford Sutherland and Peter "Chano" Sutherland.

Annette is survived by her siblings, Kent (Laree) Cox, Rhonda Cox, Gary Cox, and Alden Cox, all of Great Falls; nephews, Dexter, Leland, Doug, Robert, and Mark; nieces, Jennifer and Terrie; adopted son, Carter Coffee of Rocky Boy; uncle, Daniel "Biddo" Sutherland of Rocky Boy; aunts, Freida Ameline of Rocky Boy and Marie Wilson of Great Falls; numerous cousins; and many friends.
