Anna Marie Sutherland, 58, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Thursday, March 27, 2025.  Wake services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with Kelly Eagleman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sutherland Morsette Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Anna was born on March 16, 1967, in Havre to Daniel and Marilyn (Morsette) Sutherland.  She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school in Box Elder.  Following her school years, Anna had a son and two daughters, and spent the majority of her time caring for her children and her home.  Over the years, she worked as a cook at the senior center and the Northern Winz Casino, and as a CNA at Big Sandy Medical Center.

Anna was a kind, gentle, loving but spunky woman who loved to joke around.  During the summertime, she enjoyed taking a drive around the mountains and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.  She loved her Coke and "cigs", and watching pimple poppers and shows about monkeys was a favorite pastime.  Anna had eclectic taste in music, but she loved to jam out.  She loved old cars, and spent a great deal of time caring for her nails.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sasha Montez; mother, Marilyn Sutherland; and sister, Cora Sutherland.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Shawnee Dawn Sutherland of Great Falls; son, Theodore Daniel (Dawnie DeBerry) Sutherland of Havre; sister, Danielle Sutherland of Rocky Boy; brother, Henry Sutherland, Jr. of Rocky Boy; grandchildren, Kelshawn and Loriann Stump, Jaydeen, Avery, Everett, and Marilyn Antoine, and Talliyana and Treycen Sutherland; one great-grandchild due in May; father, Daniel Frank Sutherland; aunts, Clarice Morsette, Marcia McDowell, and Lizabeth Morsette; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
