Ann Marie O'Leary – Gregoire, 89, passed away on September 25, 2018, at Northern Montana Hospital due to natural causes. A visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. and her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., all on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the American Lutheran Church in Harlem. Burial will follow in the Harlem Cemetery. Her family has suggested memorial donations be made in Ann Marie's name to the American Lutheran Church of Harlem, Harlem Food Bank, or charity of the donor's choice. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements. Ann Marie was born in Plentywood on April 15, 1929, to Nels and Ingeborg (Kvarnstrom) Ward of Westby, Montana. She graduated from Havre's Sacred Heart Nursing School in 1948 and immediately began working as an RN at Fort Belknap IHS Hospital. She met and married Daniel O'Leary in 1949, and the couple had 4 children whom they raised in Harlem. She retired from IHS in 1986, and Daniel passed away on October 25, 1987. Several years later, Ann Marie met Giles Gregoire, and the couple married in August 1992 in Rocky Boy. They made their home south of Havre near the Bear Paw Mountains. Giles passed on October 6, 2009, and seven years later, Ann Marie returned to Harlem.
Ann Marie was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel O'Leary and Giles Gregoire; parents Nels and Ingeborg Ward; siblings, Bernt (Arlene) Ward, Vernice (Dan) Mueller, Darlene Ward and John Ward.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Arthur) Richman and Daniel (Sally) O'Leary of Harlem, Susan O'Leary of Laurel, and William (Laurie) O'Leary of Whitefish; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margorie Sapp, Linda (Rick Niess) Ward, and James (Sharon) Ward; and many nieces and nephews. She was a mother and friend to many more.
