Andrew Small Jr., 50 of Rocky Boy passed away Sunday, May 29 surrounded by family.

Jr was born on September 12, 1965 in Havre, MT to the late Andrew Small Sr. and Dorothy Sunchild-Small. Jr always had a smile on his face and liked to joke around. Jr was best known for his love for the Rocky Boy Stars, he enjoyed watching and supporting the teams especially when his relatives played. Jr enjoyed attending community and cultural events, he loved the annual pow-wow and listening and recording pow-wow music. Jr spent many evenings visiting at the gambling hall. He enjoyed arts and crafts and spent many hours drawing and coloring. His favorite times were spent with his family, enjoying his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren especially during family dinners and outings. He was active and believed in the traditional ways of our Cree culture. Jr had a generous heart and he was always helping those in need.

He was preceded in death by his father Andrew Small Sr. and mother Dorothy Small-Sunchild; grandparents, Pete Sunchild, Fannie Oats-Sunchild, Joseph Sr & Little Girl Small; brother Robert "Bobby" Small; adopted sister Debbie St. Pierre; and Nephew Ryan Small.

Jr is survived by sisters, Delphine (Mike) Sangrey, Cindy Small; adopted brothers, Kenny (Patsy) Gopher, Mick Fedullo, Mike (Lisa) Lamebull; aunties, Irene Mitchell, Zellah Nault, Helen Parker, Florence Sunchild; uncle Bruce (Valerie) Sunchild; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Steve) Parker, Cory (Cameron) Billy, Ashley Small, Michael Sangrey Jr., Todd, Kollie, Kordell, Kiera Small, Shana (Steve) Henry, Chelsea Bharadwa; grandchildren, Kirsten & Brayden LaMere, Payson & Presleigh Billy, Kellcyn Thomas-Sangrey, Trevor Myers, Aleece Meek, Mason Henry, Avryll St. Pierre, Ahsha Bharadwa; special cousins Laurie & Lisa Sunchild; and longtime friend Manny Duran Sr., all of Rocky Boy.
