Allen Joseph "Pie" Nault, 76, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the Northern Montana Hospital in Havre. His wake service will begin Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. and continue through Wednesday with the Rosary and Prayer Vigil being held at 7 p.m. His funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rocky Boy. His burial will follow at the Warrior's Burial Grounds with full military honors. Memorials in Allen's honor may be made to a local veteran's organization.

Allen was born March 14, 1947, in Fort Belknap, Montana to Alfred Sr. and Mary (Nomee) Nault. He was raised and educated in Rocky Boy. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1965 and served during Vietnam as a paratrooper in covert missions. He was honorably discharged in 1967. He headed to California where he worked at a service station and met many people. He made his way back home to Montana and worked
as a carpenter building many homes in Rocky Boy and for the construction company which built Holiday Village Mall in Havre. He was a talented carpenter; building his own home in Box Elder and landscaping his beautiful yard. He was very proud of his home and what he created. He then went to work for the Bureau Of Indian Affairs in the maintenance department where he worked for over twenty years.

He married and had children, and later divorced. Allen was very proud of his veteran status and volunteered his time with the veteran honor  guard and also as a pallbearer for his fellow veteran's service. Allen was a kind, generous person who always had an open door for everyone. He was hospitable and would never turn anyone away. He had a wonderful, fun sense of humor and enjoyed helping people. He enjoyed going out
on the town where he could find some music to dance to and a willing partner to dance with.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Florence "Quaddie" Corcoran, Marie Nault and Dorothy Janvier; brothers, Alfred "Sunny" Nault
Jr., Joseph "Bally" Nault, and Robert Nault; and son, David Belcourt.

Allen is survived by his daughters, Chantell Nault, Rose Nault, and Melissa Stump; sons, Louis Morsette, Terrance Wells, Jesse Wells,
and Dustin Wells; sisters, Elinor Nault Wright, Rosetta Nault, Caroline Raining Bird, Cynthia (Don) Brafford, Rose (Larry) Favel, Eileen Nault and Linda (John) LaSalle; brothers, Tim (Thelma) Nault Sr., Earl (Elaine) Nault, Alfred Youngman and Bob LaRoque; 49 grandchildren;  and numerous great-grandchildren.
