Allan James Gryde of Hogeland, Montana, age 65, passed away on July 24, 2018 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Montana due to complications from diabetes.   Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Hogeland American Lutheran Church.  Allan's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his name to the Blaine 1 Ambulance Service, PO Box 235, Chinook, MT  59523.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.  Please visit Allan's online memorial page and leave a message of condolence for his family at www.hollandbonine.com .

Allan was born on December 29, 1952 to Raymond and Stella Gryde in Climax, Saskatchewan. He was given the nickname "Wrench" as a boy, and it stuck with him his entire life. Allan was a truck driver and farm laborer who loved motorcycles and researching his family genealogy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Sigmund (Agnes) Gryde and James  (Marvel) McCannell; sister Lori Sveen; and uncles Stan Mazurek and Gordon Gryde of Canada. Surviving are sisters Jayne Azure, Terry Hanson and Wendy Gerky; aunt Kathy Mazurek of Canada; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
