Albert "Al" Seely, 84, passed away on February 26, 2012 at the Care and Comfort Home in Havre, MT of natural causes. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Highland Cemetery with Pastor John Chapman officiating. A reception will be held at the Eagles following the graveside service. Memorials in Albert's honor can be made to the MT Chapter of the Heart Association at 510 1st Ave N Room 114, Great Falls, MT 59401 or to one's choice. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland and Bonine Funeral Home. Albert was born August 3, 1927 to Guy and Eleanor (Johnson) Seely in Hinsdale, Montana. He attended school in Hinsdale. He joined the Navy in 1945 and was honorably discharged in 1946 serving in World War II he then reenlisted the Navy in 1948 and was honorably discharge in 1950. Albert married Marian L. Ellis on January 27, 1952 at the Methodist Church in Hinsdale. Albert worked as a truck driver for United Transfer the Great Northern Railway and the Burlington Northern Railway. He was also a bar owner for some years during this time. He retired in 1982. Albert was known for being a great socializer and collector. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Eleanor Seely; his brother, Charles Seely; and his son Mark Seely. Albert is survived by his wife of 60 years Marian Seely of Havre, Montana; sons, Larry (Fransetta) Seely and Bert (Leslie) Seely of Havre, Montana and Byron (Mary) Seely of Spokane, WA; and daughter-in-law Valory Seely of Billings, Montana; two granddaughters, six grandsons and three great-grandsons.
