Our dear son. When you came into this world- you were such a good baby, you hardly even cried as a newborn. As a child you never carried on as being a rebellious child. Your only desire was to always to buy your favorite books - "The Bernstein Bears." As a teenager, we never had any problems in raising you to become a great man that you turned out to be. Your high school graduation from Charles M. Russell High School in Great Falls, Montana was realizing that you would be seeking your future. When you decided to move out of state to Spokane, Washington - my heart broke. Yes, mothers cry when their children leave home, but we had to let you go to live your own life. You became a strong man in helping those in need and went out of your way in making many sacrifices. You left your Rocky Boy & Great Falls family and friends to be with another family and friends and make your home in Spokane, Washington for 26 years. You left your Spokane community when you became sick to be closer to your parents. Again, our hearts were broken from your illness. Life isn't fair, but who said life was fair anyway.
Your illness brought an understanding just how precious life is. We will forever miss you Son, but we know Creator loved you more.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Agnes Parker and George and Babe Gopher.
Alan is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Phyllis (Gopher) Parker of Box Elder; sisters, Rebecah (Ric) Trevino of San Antonio, TX, Jaclyn (Jaime) Aviles of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Stacy Tan of Big Sandy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
