Aaron was born December 15, 1981, to Donna Sue Myers and Melvin LaMere. He was babied, and loved dearly, by his father Melvin. In 1999, he followed his brother, Mark, to Job Corps, graduating with his diploma and certificate in carpentry. Aaron then moved to North Dakota for a while to work. He came back to Rocky Boy to check on his parents, and there he met Lexi Henderson, and the couple had four children together before separating.
Aaron's life was filled with love and family. He possessed a love of horseback riding, and was a hard-working jack of all trades. His favorite job was working for the Rocky Boy Road Department as a heavy equipment operator. He loved overtime: Aaron would rub his hands together and say "Woo hoo … overtime" and away he, Randal Whitford and Ryan Johnson would go. But first, he made a giant snowbank for his kids to play on. They needed their own sledding hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Donna LaMere, and siblings, Harold Watson and Fawn LaMere.
Aaron is survived by his children, Kelsi Henderson, Tyler (Jaynee) LaMere, Taile LaMere, and Aaron (Taizj) LaMere, Jr.; grandchildren, Weston LaMere and baby girl arriving in March; his new-found love, Jennifer Wilkinson; brothers, Ty (Ivy) Watson of Rocky Boy, DJ Watson of Washington, and Mathew "Mark" (Lisa) LaForge of Billings, and Melvin Writing Bird, Jr. of Rocky Boy; uncles, Larry (Margaret) Denny, Sr. and Billy LaMere, all of Rocky Boy; aunt, Victoria Demontiney and Mildred LaMere, both of Rocky Boy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
